OK Star Wars fanatics.... which is true....
I found this from an article:
When George Lucas offered Prowse either Darth Vader or Chewbacca in Star Wars, Vader seemed more attractive because he didn't have to say anything.
but i've heard multiple times in the past that Prowse had said all the lines in the movie, and it wasn't until he saw the movie at the premiere that he found out that they dubbed his voice over with that of James Earl Jones.

David Prowse commented in an interview that he was unaware that his voice been dubbed with that of James Earl Jones' until he saw the movie on opening night.
